Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the spark plug wires and ignition coil wire from the distributor.
2. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor harness connector from the distributor.
3. Remove the distributor cap screws.
4. Remove the distributor cap.
5. Remove the rotor screws.
