Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Mark and remove air pump pulley.
3. Disconnect hoses, vacuum and electrical connectors from air management valve, if equipped.
4. Disconnect hoses from diverter valve and remove valve from air pump, if equipped.
5. Remove air pump mounting bolts and pump assembly from vehicle.
NOTE: If air pump is being replaced, transfer air management valve, if equipped to the new air pump assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
