C 1500 Truck 2WD V8-350 5.7L (1989)
5. Install water pump pulley (70), fan (73) and fan clutch (74) to the water pump hub.
Tighten stud (71) to: 8n.m (71 in. lbs.).
Tighten fan bolts (72) to: 24n.m (18 ft. lbs.).
6. Install fan clutch nuts (75). Tighten nuts to: 24n.m (18 ft. lbs.).
7. Install accessory drive belt/s and adjust. Refer to Drive Belt. See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt
8. Add coolant to the radiator.

Start the engine and run with the radiator cap removed until the radiator upper hose becomes hot (thermostat is open).

With the engine idling, add coolant to the radiator until the level reaches the bottom of the filler neck.
9. Install radiator cap, making sure the arrows line up with the overflow tube.
