Install Campaign Identification Label.

CAMPAIGN IDENTIFICATION LABEL

Each vehicle corrected in accordance with the instructions outlined in this Product Campaign Bulletin will require a "Campaign Identification Label."
Each label provides a space to include the five (5) digit dealer code of the dealer performing the campaign service. This information may be inserted
with a typewriter or a ball point pen.
Each "Campaign Identification Label" is to be located on the radiator core support in an area which will be visible when the vehicle is brought in for
periodic servicing by the owner.

Apply "Campaign Identification Label" only on a clean dry surface.

Dealers will automatically receive the correct labor and material allowance based on the labor operation performed.

Dear Chevrolet Owner:

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

REASON FOR THIS RECALL

General Motors has determined that certain 1989 Chevrolet C/K 15-35 Series Light Duty Trucks were produced at Oshawa Truck Assembly Plant with
incorrect or missing vehicle certification labels. The trucks were assembled correctly. The incorrect information or missing certification label fails to
conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 120, "Tire Selection and Rims for Vehicles Other Than Passenger
Cars."

WHAT WE WILL DO

To correct this condition, it will be necessary to install a new certification label. Since a new certification label can be easily installed, and to reduce your
inconvenience, we are enclosing a label with installation instructions. The label may be installed by you on the driver's door of your vehicle. However, if
you desire, your Chevrolet dealer will install the label for you at no charge.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

Please let us know if you elect to install the label yourself by completing the enclosed postage paid owner reply card and returning it to us. This assists us
in assuring that all affected vehicles have been corrected. If you have sold or traded your vehicle, please let us know by completing the postage paid
reply card and returning it to us.

Should you choose to have your local Chevrolet Dealer install the label for you, please bring the owner reply card, along with the enclosed label, to your
