C 1500 Truck 2WD V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN F (1998)
1. Remove the shoe and linings.
2. Clean the dirt and foreign material from around the wheel cylinder.
3. Remove the inlet pipe. Plug the pipe to prevent fluid loss and contamination.
4. Remove the bolts.
5. Remove the wheel cylinder.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the wheel cylinder.
2. Install the bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the inlet pipe.

Tighten the fitting to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the shoes and linings.
5. Bleed the brake system.
