Oil Filter: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the oil filter from the engine block.
3. Remove the drain plug from the oil pan.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: When serving a vehicle equipped with four wheel drive and a 6.5L - turbocharger diesel engine, retighten the oil filter adapter bolt to
65 Nm (47 ft. lbs.) after installing a new oil filter.
