Hose Routing C1,2 With 4.3L, 5.0L And 5.7L - K1 With 5.7L
Remove or Disconnect
Tool Required
J 25034-B Puller

Place a drain pan below the pump.
1. Hoses. Cap the hoses.
2. Unload the tensioner assembly.
3. Belt.
4. Pulley.

Install J 25034-B. Be sure the pilot bolt bottoms in the pump shaft by turning the nut to the top of the pilot bolt.

Hold the pilot bolt.

Turn the nut counterclockwise.
5. Front mounting bolts (4.3L, 5.0L, and 5.7L engines).
6. Rear brace (7.4L engines).
7. Front brace and rear mounting nuts (6.5L diesel engines).
8. Pump.
Install or Connect
Tool Required
J 25033-B Pulley Installer
1. Pump.
2. Mounting bolts (4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L engines).
Tighten
Tighten bolts to 50 N.m (37 lbs. ft.).
3. Mounting bolts (7.4L engines).
Tighten
Tighten bolts to 50 N.m (37 lbs. ft.).
4. Brace (4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, 7.4L engines).
Tighten
