General Motors has determined that certain 1992-93 Chevrolet C/K trucks were produced with door lock cylinders manufactured with inadequate
tumbler lubrication. This condition has resulted in an increase of lock cylinder freeze-up and corrosion.
To prevent this condition from occurring, lock cylinder lubricant and instructions will be sent to all owners of record. Owners may lubricate their door
locks or they may ask a dealer to perform the service.
