Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
Full-Floating Axle (10 1/2 Inch Ring Gear)
REAR WHEEL BEARINGS AND/OR HUB

Tools Required:

J 8092 Driver Handle
-
J 8608 Pinion Bearing Cup Installer
-
J 24426 Outer Wheel Bearing Cup Installer
-
J 24427 inner Wheel Bearing Cup Installer
-
J 24428-Axle Shaft Seal Installer

Raise the vehicle until the wheels are free to rotate.
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Axle shaft.
2. Hub and drum.
3. Oil Seal.
4. Inner bearing. Use a drift, to remove the bearing and cup.
5. Retaining ring.

Use snap ring pliers to remove the ring.
