Dealers are to service all vehicles subject to this campaign at no charge to owners, regardless of mileage, age of vehicle, or ownership, from this time
forward.

Whenever a vehicle subject to this campaign is taken into your new or used vehicle inventory, or it is in your dealership for service in the future, you
should take the steps necessary to be sure the campaign correction has been made before reselling or releasing the vehicle.

Owners of vehicles recently sold from your new vehicle inventory are to be contacted by the dealer, and arrangements made to make the required
correction according to instructions contained in this bulletin.

PARTS INFORMATION

Parts kits required to complete this campaign will be shipped to involved dealers on a no charge basis.

Do NOT order this kit from General Motors Service Parts Operations (GMSPO).

If inspection of the fuel lines shows any chaffing, order fuel lines and "O" rings (see part number information below) to complete the campaign from
General Motors Service Parts Operation (GMSPO) on a "C.I.O." order with no special instruction code, but under an advise code (2).

Service Procedure

1.

Raise vehicle on hoist.

2.

Inspect fuel lines at the automatic transmission shift linkage cordon shaft and/or on K models, the front propshaft. If inspection shows any
signs of chaffing, it will be necessary to replace the fuel lines. Torque fittings to 20-34 N-m (15-25 lb.ft.). If lines are replaced, also replace
"O" rings on feed and return lines.
