9. Bolts holding the mounting bracket to the engine.

10. Nut holding the bracket to the stud on the engine.
11. Vacuum pump and the bracket from the engine.
12. Bolts and the pump from the bracket.

Disassemble:

Removing The Pulley

Remove pulley using J 25034-B Pump Pulley Remover.

Assemble:

Installing The Pulley

Install pulley using J 25033-B. Pulley should be flush with the end of the shaft.

Install or Connect:

1. Vacuum pump to the bracket with bolts and tighten to 27 Nm (20 ft lbs)
2. Bracket and pump to the engine bolts and nut and tighten to 40 Nm (30 ft lbs).
3. Vacuum hose

With Air Conditioning
4. Pump to bracket with bolts and tighten to 27 Nm (20 ft lbs)
5. Vacuum hose
6. Bolts holding the compressor and bracket to the engine and tighten bolts to 40 Nm (30 ft lbs) and nut to 25 Nm (18 ft lbs).
7. Electrical connector to the compressor.

Both Models
8. Drive belt.
9. Negative battery cable.
