Fuel/Water Separator: Service and Repair
Fuel Manager/Filter Assembly
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT:
1. Fuel filler cap to release pressure or vacuum in the fuel tank.
2. Mounting bolts that connect the fuel manager/filter to the intake manifold and move the fuel manager/filter to a position that enables access to
the sensor mounting screws.
3. Water sensor wiring harness
4. Water sensor mounting screws
INSTALL OR CONNECT:
1. New water sensor and seal
2. Install and tighten screws to 2 Nm (13 in lbs)
3. Fuel manager/filter to intake manifold with mounting bolts and tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft lbs)
