Drive Belt: Service and Repair
1. Use a wrench on the pulley axis bolt to rotate the tensioner clockwise and release tension.
CAUTION: Do not rotate the tensioner except as noted above. Also, do not allow the tensioner to snap into the "free" position. Either of these
conditions could damage the belt and/or tensioner.
2. Belt.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
NOTE: Install a multiple ribbed belt following the belt roofings shown. The grooves in the belt must match the grooves in the pulleys. The tensioner
is spring loaded. After removing the belt, the tensioner will return to the tension position.
