Grille Replacement (Base)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the parking lamps and the side markers from the upper grille.
2. Remove the screws (5, 6) holding the upper grille (4) to the vehicle.
3. Remove the screw holding the upper grille to the latch support.
4. Remove the screws holding the upper grille to the radiator support.
5. Unsnap the upper grille from the filler panel and the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Snap the upper grille and the filler panel into place.
2. Install the filler panel to the vehicle with the bolts.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the screws (5, 6) holding the upper grille to the radiator support.

Tighten the upper grille screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

4. Install the screw holding the upper grille to the latch support.

Tighten the upper grille screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the parking lamps and the side markers.
