1. Coat the new O-ring seal with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Install the new O-ring seal to the condenser hose.
3. Install the compressor hose assembly to the condenser.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the nut to the condenser.

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

5. Coat the new O-ring seals with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
6. Install the new O-ring seals to the accumulator hose.
7. Connect the hose assembly nut to the accumulator.

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

8. Install the sealing washers.
9. Install the hose assembly to the compressor.

10. Install the compressor hose bolt to the A/C compressor.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).

11. Install the compressor hose retaining bracket bolt to the upper intake manifold.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

12. Install the grille.
13. Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
14. Leak test the fittings of the component using the J 39400-A.
