8. If equipped with dual generators, remove the ground strap nut from the transmission stud.
9. Remove the ground strap from the stud.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. If equipped with dual generators, install the ground strap to the transmission stud.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the ground strap nut to the stud.

Tighten

Tighter the ground strap nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
