C 3500 HD Truck 2WD V8-8.1L VIN G (2002)
1. Using J 45381 install the NEW rear oil seal.
2. Install the following components:
2.1.
The yoke
2.2.
A NEW main shaft washer
2.3.
A NEW prop shaft yoke washer
2.4.
The main shaft nut
3. If required, use J 8614-01 in order to keep the keep yoke from rotating.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Tighten the main shaft nut.

Tighten the main shaft nut to 441 Nm (325 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the rear propeller shaft.
6. Check the transmission fluid level. Add if necessary.
7. Lower the vehicle.
