Some 1988 C/K trucks may exhibit power windowlift actuator motors that start out as intermittent operation and eventually are inoperative. The actuator
motors are intermittent or inoperative due to restricted brushes making intermittent contact with the armature commutator. If this condition exists, follow
the diagnostic procedures in Section 8A of the Service Manual to determine if the switch, wiring, etc. are operating correctly. If the diagnostics indicate
that replacement of the windowlift aduator or regulator is necessary, replace with the following service part numbers:
