Rear Lift Window Replacement

Removal Procedure

Important:  Before cutting out or removing a stationary window, apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the
painted surfaces and inner trim of the window.

1. Open the lift window.

Disconnect the lift window rear defogger plug from the window.

Caution:  Refer to Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Use safety glasses and gloves.

3. Remove the struts from the lift window.

4. Remove the C-clips from the lift window hinges, not the liftgate.
5. With the aid of an assistant remove the lift window (1) from the vehicle.
