Compressor Hose Assembly Replacement (W/ Harrison)
TOOLS REQUIRED
J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the A/C compressor hose assembly mounting bolt (2) from the A/C compressor (3).
Discard the bolt.
3. Disconnect the A/C compressor hose assembly (1) from the compressor (3).
4. Remove the nut at the accumulator.
Discard the nut.
5. Disconnect the A/C compressor hose from the accumulator.
6. Remove the upper radiator baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors (Side) or Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors
(Upper) in Cooling System.
