Fuel Return Line: Service and Repair
Fuel Injector Return Pipe Replacement -Left
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the lower valve cover.
2. Remove the return line bolts from injectors and cylinder head.
3. Remove the return line from the engine.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Always install new copper gaskets on the fuel injector lines.
1. Install the return line on the injectors.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the return line bolts to injectors and cylinder head.
Tighten
Tighten the return line bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
3. Install the lower valve cover.
