C 3500 Truck 2WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo VIN 1 (2002)
1. If replacing an individual fuel pipe, place the new fuel pipe in the retaining clips.
2. Install the fuel bundle (3) to the chassis (1) using the following procedure:
2.1.
Install the fuel bundle (3) to the chassis by guiding the pipes towards the rear of vehicle.
2.2.
Lift the fuel pipes, while guiding the forward portion of the pipes up towards the engine connections.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Attach the fuel bundle to the chassis.
Tighten
Tighten the fuel bundle retaining nuts (1) to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
4. Remove the fuel caps.
5. Install the system cooler.
6. Connect the fuel bundle clips (2) to the transmission brackets (1).
7. Install the fuel tank.
