1. Clean the mating surfaces on the air intake pipe (1) and the turbocharger (3).
2. Position the air intake pipe to the turbocharger.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the air intake pipe bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. lnstall PCV valve hose.
5. Install glow plug relay assembly.

6. Install the upper intake manifold cover.
7. Install the upper intake manifold cover to the outlet duct.
8. Tighten the outlet duct clamp at the upper intake manifold cover.

Tighten
Tighten the clamp to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
