Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove transmission.
3.
Remove flywheel retaining bolts, then flywheel.
4.
On all models, remove seal using suitable screwdriver.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. To facilitate installation, apply a light coat of engine oil to outside sealing surface of new seal, then evenly
press seal into place.
