INSURE THAT LOCATING PINS ARE ENGAGED WITH CRANKSHAFT PULLEY PRIOR TO TORQUING CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
BOLT.

Torque crankshaft pulley bolt to 95 N-M. (70 lb.ft.) while holding crankshaft (flywheel).
9.
Reassemble accessory belts and tension to specification.

Each vehicle modified in accordance with the instructions outlined in this Product Campaign Bulletin will require a "Campaign Identification Label."
Each label provides a space to include the five digit dealer code of the dealer performing the campaign service. This information may be inserted with a
typewriter or ballpoint pen.
Each "Campaign Identification Label" is to be located on the radiator core support in an area which will be visible when the vehicle is brought in for
periodic servicing by the owner.
Apply "Campaign Identification Label" only on a clean dry surface.

**The "Parts Allowance" should be the sum total of the current GMSPO Dealer Net price plus 30% of all parts required for the repair.
Dealers will automatically receive the correct labor and material allowance based on the labor operation performed.

REIMBURSEMENT
Current and past owners of 1981-84 Chevrolet Chevette models equipped with a 1.6L gasoline engine, air conditioning and power steering are eligible
for reimbursement for unreimbursed repair expenses due to a previous crankshaft pulley bolt fracture, regardless of the age or mileage of the car at the
time of the occurrence.
To obtain reimbursement, eligible owners must submit claims to an authorized Chevrolet dealer for vehicles involved in this campaign no later than
