Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair
Rear Coil Spring
CAMARO
1.
Raise and support vehicle and support rear axle with a suitable adjustable jack.
2.
Remove track bar mounting bolt from axle and loosen track bar bolt at body brace.
3.
Disconnect rear brake hose clip at underbody, then disconnect shock absorbers at lower mountings.
4.
On models equipped with 4-151 engine, remove propeller shaft.
5.
Lower rear axle and remove springs and insulators.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
