Fuel Supply Line: Service and Repair
Rear Fuel Feed / Return Pipes

Rear Fuel and Vapor Pipes

NOTE:  Do Not attempt to repair rear fuel feed, return, and EVAP pipes. If damaged, replace.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Relieve fuel system pressure.
3. Raise vehicle.

Clean
Clean all fuel and EVAP pipe and hose connections and surrounding areas before disconnecting to avoid possible contamination of the fuel
system.

4. Fuel tank.
5. Rear fuel feed and return pipes from chassis fuel pipe and fuel filter.
6. EVAP hoses from EVAP pressure control valve and EVAP canister.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. EVAP hoses to EVAP pressure control valve and EVAP canister.
2. Rear fuel feed and return pipes to chassis fuel pipe and fuel filter.
3. Fuel tank.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Negative battery cable.
6. Tighten fuel filler cap.

INSPECT

Turn ignition switch to "ON" position for two seconds, then turn to "OFF" for ten seconds. Again turn to "ON" position and check for fuel leaks.
