Oil Pressure Gauge: Testing and Inspection
Test G: Oil Pressure Gage Always Indicates Low Pressure
TEST G: OIL PRESSURE GAGE ALWAYS INDICATES LOW PRESSURE "0"
Disconnect Fuel Pump/Oil Pressure Sender/Switch connector. Turn Ignition Switch to RUN.

If the Oil Pressure Gage indicates high pressure "60," replace the Fuel Pump/Oil Pressure Sender/Switch.

If the Oil Pressure Gage still indicates low pressure "0," check TAN (31) wire for a short to ground. Check Instrument Cluster Printed Circuit for
cracks or flaws. Repair/replace the Oil Pressure Gage if the wire and Printed Circuit are good
