Nature of Problem, Field #3, is particularly important. To assure accurate diagnosis and repair of the returned unit, also attach a Repair Order
copy.

The repaired unit will be returned to the dealership with the dealership copy of the AC Delco form, properly completed. In cases where the
dealership has received a pre-exchange unit, the completed form will be mailed after return of the inoperative unit to the repair center.

A warranty claim is to be submitted for the R&R of the unit. An additional .2 hour administrative allowance will be paid if applied for when
components are repaired under warranty by an AC Delco Service Center. This additional time should be entered in the "other labor hours" column
of the Chevrolet warranty claim.

The dealer copy of the ACD-1078A and the freight receipt or shipping invoice are to be retained in accordance with requirements detailed in the
current Chevrolet Service Policies and Procedures Manual.
TIMELY RETURN OF UNITS FOR REPAIR
Return of units for repair in cases of pre-exchange is critical to the success of the exchange programs. When dealerships do not immediately return cores,
it results in local parts shortages. If dealerships are delinquent on core returns, AC Delco will contact Chevrolet for action by Warranty Administration
