The 1988 Camaro models with V8 engines will continue to use the tight side belt routing as shown in Figure 2 of this service bulletin and in the 1988
Camaro Service manual.
The 1989 Caprice models with 5.7L (VIN Code 7, RPO L05) or Caprice models used as police (RPO 9C1) and taxi cab (RPO 9C6) with 5.0L (VIN
Code E, RPO L03) or 4.3L (VIN Code Z, RPO LB4) engines will also continue to use the tight side belt routing as shown in Figure 2 of this service
bulletin and in the 1989 Caprice Service Manual.
