EGR Valve: Service and Repair

Intake Plenum Service

EGR And Solenoid Service

NOTE: The air intake plenum must be removed in order to access the EGR valve.

PLENUM AND EGR REMOVAL:

1.

Disconnect negative battery cable.

2.

Disconnect throttle, transmission, and cruise control cables. Remove cable retaining bracket.

3.

Remove the 4 throttle body retaining bolts.
