Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Connector
A/c Refrigerant Pressure Sensor
Remove or Disconnect
1. Electrical connector at sensor.
2. Sensor and seal.

Sensor is mounted on a Schrader type valve so it is not necessary to discharge the refrigeration system.

Discard seal.
Install or Connect
1. New seal to sensor fitting.

Coat seal with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Sensor.
Tighten
^
Sensor to 6 N.m (53 lb. in.).
3. Electrical connector to sensor.
