Band Apply Servo: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE

J 29714-A Servo Cover Depressor
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the oxidation catalytic converter.
3. Remove the propeller shaft.
4. Remove the torque arm.
5. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.
6. Remove the transmission support.
7. Remove the catalytic converter heat shield.
8. Lower the transmission.
9. Remove the two oil pan bolts below the 2-4 servo cover.
10. Install the J 29714-A to the oil pan rail.
11. Tighten the bolt on J 29714-A to compress the servo cover.
12. Remove the servo cover retaining ring.
