Removal Procedure
1. Remove the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump, Screen, and Crankshaft Oil Deflector Replacement (See: Engine Lubrication/Oil Pump/Service and
Repair).
2. Align the timing marks.
3. Install the J 42386-A.
4. Remove and discard the camshaft position (CMP) actuator solenoid valve (234).
