5. Install A/C evaporator thermal expansion valve tube (2) to thermal expansion valve tube.
6. Install A/C evaporator thermal expansion valve tube nut (1) and tighten to 19 Nm (14 lb ft).
7. Connect the compressor hose to the A/C evaporator thermal expansion valve tube. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (
See: Hose/Line HVAC/Service and Repair/Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement).
8. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine
Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair).
9. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement).
10. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant Recovery and
Recharging).
