O-ring is seated properly in cavity and is flush with top of fuel meter body casting surface.

Install injector in injector cavity, aligning raised lug on injector with notch in fuel meter body cavity.

Push down on injector until fully seated in cavity. At this time injector electrical terminals should be approximately parallel to throttle shaft.

Install fuel meter cover. See: Throttle Body/Service and Repair/Fuel Meter Cover Assembly
8.
Connect electrical connector, then install air cleaner assembly.
