Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair
Air Induction System
AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL:
1.
Remove the retainers from the air cleaner assembly.
2.
Remove the clamp from the air intake duct front.
3.
Remove the air cleaner assembly from the upper radiator support.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Position the air cleaner assembly to the upper radiator support, push in the retainers to tighten. Tighten the front clamp assembly to 3 Nm (27
lb.in).
2.
Clamp and position the air intake duct to the air cleaner assembly and tighten.
AIR FILTER ELEMENT
REMOVAL:
1.
Remove the spring clips from the air cleaner cover.
2.
Remove and inspect the air filter element for dust, dirt, water and clean or replace if required.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Install the air cleaner element.
2.
Attach the spring clips to the air cleaner cover.
