Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

CHEVROLET
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Pull switch knob to ``On'' position, reach up under instrument panel and depress switch shaft retainer, then pull knob and shaft assembly from
switch, Fig. 3.

Remove windshield wiper switch.
4.
Remove light switch ferrule nut and remove switch from panel.
5.
Disconnect electrical connector from switch and remove switch from vehicle.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
