7. Place a proper size box end wrench or J 21472 over the bleeder valve.
8. Attach a clear tube over the valve and allow tube to hang submerged in a clear container partially filled with brake fluid.
9. Open the bleeder valve and allow fluid to flow until no air is seen in the fluid.
10. Close the bleeder valve.

Be sure it seals.
Tighten

Caliper bleeder valve to 13 Nm ( 115 lb. in. ).

Wheel cylinder bleeder valve to 7 Nm ( 62 lb. in. ).
11. Repeat steps 7 through 10 until all calipers and wheel cylinders have been bled.
12. Remove J 35856 from combination valve.
13. Lower vehicle.
14. Check the brake pedal for "sponginess" and the red "BRAKE" warning lamp for indication of unbalanced pressure.

Repeat entire bleeding procedure to correct either of these two conditions.
15. Remove brake bleeding equipment from master cylinder.
16. Fill master cylinder to the proper level.
