Inspect the body harness wiring in the area shown in the illustration for signs of melting or rubbing. Repair as needed.
2.
Cut the loose connector off the wire in the area shown. Tape the bare end of the wire, then tape the wire to the harness as shown. Make sure that
the wire will not be caught by any moving part, or rub on any metal edge.
