Oil Filter and Seal Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Drain the transmission oil. Refer to A/T Fluid/Filter Changing.
3. Remove the oil pan attaching bolts and the oil pan.
4. Remove the gasket.
5. Remove the oil filter assembly.

6. Remove the filter neck seal from the transmission case. Use a small screwdriver. Do not to score the case during removal. Discard the filter seal, it

is not reusable.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
