Clutch Pedal Assembly: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Service the clutch pedal and bracket as an assembly.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
2. Remove the sound insulator from inside the vehicle. Refer to Insulator Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
3. Remove the clutch master cylinder pushrod from the clutch pedal.
4. Remove the clutch pedal and bracket mounting nuts.
5. Remove the clutch pedal and bracket assembly.
