Tool Required:

J 28467-A Engine Support

Remove or Disconnect

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Drain and recover coolant.
3. Coolant surge tank.
4. Serpentine drive belt.
5. Generator and lay it aside.
6. Install J 28467-A engine support.

Reinstall the generator through bolt and attach the engine support fixture.

7. Upper cover fasteners.
8. Cover vent hose.
9. Engine mount assembly.

10. Engine mounting bracket adapter.
11. Raise the vehicle. 
12. Right front wheel and tire assembly.
13. Right splash shield.
14. Crankshaft balancer.
15. Lower front cover fasteners.
16. Lower the vehicle.
17. Front cover and gaskets.

Install or Connect

Inspect

Front cover gasket. Replace the gasket if it is damaged.

1. Cover and gasket, these gaskets are reuseable (no sealer needed).
