Cavalier/Z24 L4-138 2.3L DOHC VIN D MFI (1995)
2. Place nuts on studs to retain cover, then bolts.
Tighten
^
Fasteners to 12 Nm (106 lbs. in.).
3. Raise the vehicle.
4. Remaining cover fasteners.
Tighten
^
Fasteners to 12 Nm (106 lbs. in.).
5. Lubricate front oil seal and sealing surface of crankshaft balancer with Chassis Grease GM P/N 1051344 or equivalent.
6. Harmonic balancer, Refer to Harmonic Balancer.
7. Right splash shield.
8. Right front wheel and tire assembly.
9. Lower the vehicle.
10. Engine mounting bracket adapter.
Important

These bolts must be replaced with new bolts anytime they are removed.
11. Engine mount assembly.
12. Generator.
13. Remove J 28467-A engine support.
14. Serpentine drive belt.
15. Front cover vent hose.
16. Coolant surge tank.
17. Add coolant.
18. Negative battery cable.
