Cavalier/Z24 L4-144 2.4L DOHC VIN T SFI (1996)
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the one bolt attaching the coolant recovery tank and position aside with hoses connected.
3. Install the engine support fixture and raise the engine off of the mount.
4. Remove the nuts holding the mount to the body.
5. Remove the bolts holding the engine bracket to the mount.
6. Remove the engine mount assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the engine mount assembly.
2. Install the nuts holding the mount to the body. Do not tighten.
3. Install the bolts holding the engine bracket to the mount.
a. Tighten the bolts holding the engine bracket to the mount to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.).
b. Tighten the nuts holding the mount to the body to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove the engine support fixture.
5. Install the coolant recovery tank.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
