To assure proper payment for work performed when steering gear assemblies are replaced under this special policy program, the following MUST be
supplied with the returned assemblies:

A copy of the repair order including the VIN and the labor operation performed

The dealer code of the dealer performing the service
Refer to General Motors Parts Information Bulletin Nos. IB No. 87-161 and IB No. 86-117 for further shipping instructions. Steering gear assemblies
returned for reasons other than this special policy need not include the above information.
CLAIM INFORMATION
Submit a Warranty Claim with the Information indicated below:
** The "Parts Allowance" should be the sub total of the current GMSPO Dealer Net Price plus 30% of all parts required for the repair.
*** The $5.15 identified in the "Net Amount" column represents the cost plus 30% of power steering fluid used in conjunction with these operations.
**** These "T" Operations are only to be used in the unlikely event that the Seal Service Kit does not correct the condition. SERVICE
MANAGEMENT AUTHORIZATION ("C") WILL BE REQUIRED.
***** The 1.0 hrs. in the "Other Hours" column for labor operations T1283, T1284, T1286 and T1287 represents time required for seal kit installation.
