SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Open hood.
2.
Make sure clutch cable is located in the clip on the inside of the left shock tower (see illustration).
3.
If the cable is not tight in the clip, remove the cable from the clip, bend the clip closed and snap the cable back into the clip. Check for minimum
clearance of 13 mm (1/2"), (see illustration).
4.
In the event the clearance is less than specified, reform brake pipe to provide a minimum 13 mm (1/2") clutch cable to brake pipe clearance.
Inspect brake pipe for damage, replace if required. Refer to the 1985 Celebrity/Citation II Shop Manual (ST-365-85), page 5-12.
5.
Install campaign completion label and close hood.
