Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair
CAMARO, 1982-83 CHEVROLET, MALIBU & MONTE CARLO, 1984-88 CORVETTE
1.
Ensure that motor is in park position.
2.
Raise hood and remove wiper arm assemblies.
3.
Remove cowl vent screen.
4.
Loosen nuts securing pivot at motor crankarm, then disconnect transmission rod from crankarm.
5.
Remove retaining nuts or screws securing transmission to body, then withdraw transmission assembly through cowl opening.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
