A 1980 through 1986 THM 125 or 125C transaxle may exhibit a slipping in all ranges condition under hard acceleration and/or
maneuvering operations, caused by oil pressure drop due to a cut or improperly seated oil strainer seal.

OIL STRAINER AND SEAL KIT P/N 8652910

OIL STRAINER AND SEAL KIT P/N 8631951

Oil strainer and seal kit P/N 8652910 (refer to Figure 1) can be used to replace oil strainer and seal kit P/N 8631951 (refer to Figure 2)
on a 1980 through 1986 THM 125 or 125C transaxle that exhibits the slipping condition.

Either design can be used to service all years and all models as follows:
