Remove the engine front cover gasket if it is damaged.
Installation Procedure
1. If removed install a new engine front cover gasket.
2. Install the front engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement (See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Engine Mount/Service
and Repair) .
3. Install the engine front cover.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .
4. Install the engine front cover bolts.
Tighten the engine front cover bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
5. Install the water pump bolt.
Tighten the water pump bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
6. Install the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side (See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and
Accessories/Engine Mount/Service and Repair) .
